Welcome to the place for all things about The Otis & James Wedding. Alright. Now that you’ve done that, it’s time for us to give you some information about how this whole thing works. Ready? Here we go!

I. The Backstory

In the Summer of 2003, Otis & James Photography had the good fortune of shooting our first wedding. At that point, o&j was just two people (Matthew & Jamie), with a letterhead and some big ideas! We were nervous, and rightfully so. We were there to capture a wedding, and there are no re-takes when it comes to this – you’ve got one chance to get it right. We jumped in with both our hearts, and at the end of the day (after the nerves had subsided), we knew this was something we wanted to do again.

A lot has changed over these last six years – in fact, by the end of this wedding season we will have shot over 170 weddings. Our dream has grown in ways we could never have imagined, and we know that every day – and every client – is a gift we are truly thankful for. The one thing that hasn’t changed is our absolute belief of how important these images are, and how much we love taking them.

Back in 2003, when it was just the two of us sitting in the balcony of Little Flower church on a muggy summer day, we had no idea that we had set in motion something that would change our lives – and the photography game in our area. But we did.

This year, we’re changing it again.

II. The Otis & James Wedding | 2009

Since that first wedding way back when, our wedding photography services have grown not only in the incredible quality that we offer and what the client receives in return, but also in the investment our clients make. Well, we’re changing that. In simple form, here’s what we’re offering.

Before this sounds too much like a commercial for an investment firm, let us explain. We want to offer the most competitive pricing possible, while still offering the same beautiful images!

We probably don’t need to tell you this, but in the last year, much has changed in our economy. We know people are nervous, and are watching their money much closer than before. Because of this, for the first time in our history we are reducing the price of our wedding plan!

These are difficult times, and the key to continued prosperity – not just for us but for our clients too – is the ability to adapt to the current economic climate. We will do this by – at minimum – maintaining our pricing, and whenever possible lowering it.

We want to shoot your wedding!
