Welcome to the home of the Fall/Winter 2009/2010 Otis & James Portrait Session! We’re happy that you’re here, because it means that you’re probably interested in finding out about our sweet portrait sessions, which is good news to us!
We’ve changed it up a little bit from the past, because change is always good – and we want to offer our clients the best option for their portrait needs. But enough of this jibberjabber, let’s get down to business and see what The Otis & James Portrait Session is all about (it’s time for some numbers, bullet points and explanations!)
There are three different types of session to choose from:
1)The Family Session
As the title states, this type of session will focus (no pun intended) on family portraits. Bring everyone – bring the dog & cat too! We don’t care – it’s all about getting the family, the whole family, and nothing but the family. For example, if you have a family, this is the session for you! That last sentence was just so I could work the word ‘family’ in one more time
2)The Kids Session
OK. Now, let’s say you want some lovely photographs of your children. And just your children. Because you already know there are enough pictures of yourself out there, and you’ve come to the realization that your relatives & friends only really want to see pics of them…well…then this is the session for you! As the title says, it’s all about the kids! Got two kids, got three kids, are you the Octo-Mom, bring them all in! Yay! 3)The Couples Session
Are you a couple that is wanting pictures? Not married? No kids? No problem! This is your session! Guys, surprise your lady with this awesome gift! Ladies, drag your man down here and promise him that it will be fun – because it will! Either way, you can’t go wrong with this awesome session!
Alright. Now you know the three types of sessions that we are offering. Now, let’s take a look at what these sessions consist of:
- A 45 Minute Session With the Photographer
- This is an approximate amount of time – sometimes we get everything we need in only a half-hour, but we allow up to 45 minutes for your session, which is a great amount of time to capture that perfect shot without feeling rushed! Plan on being here for an hour, though – we’ll start things out with a brief consultation with the photographer.
- Outfit Change During Session
- Come to the studio in one outfit, and then during the shoot, change into another. Kind of like Superman, except we don’t have a telephone booth, and you probably can’t fly.
- Approximately 45 Final Images to Choose From
- After the shoot, we weed the images down to approximately 45 to choose from – again, this is a great number that will really let you pick from the best of the best! In these final images, four will be fully corrected – that means that they have been color balanced, blemish corrected, and look their absolute best! These four are what will appear in your blog post.
- The remaining final images will be suitable for proof viewing, but will not yet be fully corrected. The four that we choose will show you how the final images will look, and once you place an order for one of the uncorrected images, we will work our magic and make any image you choose to order from look as wonderful as those fully corrected four!
- Online Web Gallery of Final Images
- Your friends, family, and anybody else that you want will then be able to view the images in a special password protected gallery that will be online for at least six months, if not longer!
- Web Gallery Ready Within Three (3) Business Days
- You got that right – three business days! We want you to get these images back as soon as we can, because we know how anxious you’ll be to see them!
- A $50.00 Ordering Credit
- You heard it right! When your gallery goes online, you will be given a special code which will give you a $50.00 credit to be used for ordering pictures through our secure online ordering system!†
- 10% Discount On Any Reorders Within The First Month of Gallery Online
- Once your gallery has been posted online, any order that is placed within the next month will be eligible for a 10% discount from our normal prices. This 10% can also be applied to any current specials we may be offering. Wahoo for savings!
- $50.00 Deposit Required at Time of Booking
- Cost of Session (Sitting Fee): $149.95

Our sessions will fill quickly – especially during the last months of the year, so we recommend calling us as soon as you can if you are interested in booking a session. Everything is first come/first serve, and you gotta place the deposit to hold the appointment time.
